“I Was Called Thunder Thighs,” says Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon about her body shaming

Mumbai (Maharashtra): In the 1990s, she was the epitome of sensuality. Even though a prominent actor of the most current generation (Katrina Kaif) replicated her popular song “Tip Tip Barsa Paani,” the majority of online users felt that the former’s oomph factor couldn’t be equaled. She is none other than Raveena Tandon, a.k.a. the “Mast Mast” girl.

Raveena Tandon discussed a variety of topics, including body shaming and harmful gossip publications that can damage someone’s career, in an exclusive interview with ANI. When asked about the gossip publications from bygone times, Raveena stated quite clearly, “The worst were gossip magazines from the 1990s. And some of those ladies—who were the fiercest enemies of women, who body-shamed women, slut-shamed women, and would do anything to pull another woman down—I now see walking about with the women’s lib insignia over their heads and hearts. I wonder when it changed because they are the greatest feminists around now. If I start making up tales about them, (laughs)”

After marrying, Raveena Tandon came to the conclusion that the “viciousness” of journalism in the 1990s was to blame for her extreme dissatisfaction, and she chose to take a vacation.
