Watch the laughter riot on the field as Virat Kohli instructs Ravichandran Ashwin in Hindi and Usman Khawaja nods in agreement during the IND vs. AUS game

On Friday, February 17, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the second game of the four-game series between India and Australia is played. Team India secured a 1-0 unbeatable lead in the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2023 by defeating their opponent by an innings and 132 runs in the opening match. The Rohit Sharma-led side must win the second game to get to the World Test Championship (WTC) championship game.

Australia chose to bat first after winning the toss in the second game. Matt Renshaw and Scott Boland were swapped out for Travis Head and Matthew Kuhnemann as the Pat Cummins-led team changed two players in their starting lineup. Suryakumar Yadav, who made his Test debut in the most recent game, was replaced by Shreyas Iyer in the starting XI after recuperating from a back ailment.

David Warner and Usman Khawaja’s opening combination of 50 runs gave the Australians a strong start. Warner, who had a rocky start to his innings against Indian spinners, was removed for 15 runs by pacer Mohammed Shami, giving the Rohit Sharma-led squad their first victory.

Usman Khawaja struck a half-century on the opening day of the current Test match after being dismissed from the first Test in Nagpur due to poor performance. In addition to scoring 68 runs, he stopped Ravichandran Ashwin, who had an outstanding track record against left-handed batters.
