Trae Young agree to $207 million extension with Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young is getting remunerated for driving the Atlanta Hawks toward the Eastern Conference finals.

On Tuesday, the Hawks signed their superstar point guard toward a five-year, $207 million assigned rookie maximum extension, ESPN detailed, refering to Young’s agent Omar Wilkes of Klutch Sports.

Youthful, who is as of now one of the top scorers in the NBA, was the driving force behind Atlanta’s doubtful race to the conference finals, which included an amazing victory over the top-cultivated Philadelphia 76ers in seven games.

During the 2020 NBA season, Young arrived at the midpoint of 29.6 focuses per game, which was useful for fourth in the class. It was the most by a Hawks player since Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins found the middle value of 29.9 focuses per game back in 1993.

While leading the Hawks to their second conference finals appearance in the last 50 years, Young averaged 28.8 points and 9.5 assists per game.

The 22-year-old will be a key piece for the Hawks as they seek work around him for quite a long time to come.
