‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ – Anthony Daniels Wraps Filming as C-3PO

Episode IX is slowing down right now, with some of the significant players wrapping their parts totally. Anthony Daniels, who has been under the brilliant suit as the robotic C-3PO since Star Wars first debuted in 1977, recently took to Twitter to announce his days on director J.J. Abrams‘ trilogy-capper are officially finito.

Episode IX doesn’t theaters centers until December 20, however woo boy is the lead-up to that one going to be enormously interesting. The gathering to Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi basically part a whole being a fan in two like Laura Dern the wheel of a spaceship. Some left away reasoning Johnson’s entrance was a keen, nuanced take on the idea of mythology itself, while others ended up in the camp that accepts both Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy are real hellspawn sent by Satan to destroy their childhood. (Plenty just either disliked or liked the film, I see you.)

In any case, Episode IX will put a top on a Skywalker story that has been continuing for a considerable length of time. The Last Jedi left off with our main group—Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac—alive yet battered and on the keep running from Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order. It’ll be fascinating to perceive how Abrams, never one to simply, similar to, recount a story in a typical manner, re-takes the reins he gave up after The Force Awakens. Plus, given Daniels’ Tweet, I wonder if they gave C-3PO another other to do than show up and be like, “Oh, bother.”
