The scientists named the microbes BANAL-52, BANAL-103, and BANAL-236.

The discoveries support the hypothesis that the COVID-19 pandemic started because of the hereditary hybrid of a bat Covid.

As indicated by Bloomberg, Marc Eloit, head of microbe disclosure at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, and co-creators said the Covids they found are “the nearest progenitors of SARS-CoV-2 known to date.”

“These infections might have added to SARS-CoV-2’s starting point and may inherently represent a future danger of direct transmission to people,” he added.
