Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, is heavily criticised in Pakistan for THIS reason

The makers of Mission Majnu just yesterday published the film’s trailer. Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna play the key roles in the movie. A RAW agent who is dispatched to Pakistan as a spy is the central character of the tale. On social media, the trailer received positive feedback from many users. But it appears that the trailer offended a few people in the neighbouring nation. A few online users have criticised the film’s stereotypical portrayal of Pakistanis. From surma to the adaab, many have objected to how Pakistanis have been shown in Mission Majnu trailer.

People have said in the comments that nobody does an aadab or wears a headgear in Pakistan. Several others added, “typical Adaab, Janab, with surma and namaz cap. Please don’t do this around here. Bollywood must perform better.”

The film Mission Majnu is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta and directed by Shantanu Bagchi. Instead of a theatrical release, the movie will debut on Netflix on January 20. Shershaah made Sidharth Malhotra a household name, but his most recent movie, Thank God, did not perform as well at the box office. Mission Majnu’s audience reception is still up in the air.
