New Delhi: Ahead of his 80th birthday, Abhishek Bachchan recently surprised his father Amitabh Bachchan on the Kaun Banega Crorepati set. Jaya Bachchan was also included in the surprise. Big B’s birthday is today, thus a special episode will show today. Abhishek Bachchan posted a video showing the numerous steps involved in organising a surprise for his father and captioned it, “It took a lot of secrecy, a lot of preparation, a lot of hard work, and a lot of rehearsals to get it right.
He deserves nothing less, though, so… It was really moving to be able to surprise dad and celebrate his 80th birthday at the place he loves the most, his place of employment. I want to express my appreciation to the entire Sony and Kaun Banega Crorepati team for assisting me in doing this and making tonight’s programme so special for my father. Abhishek Bachchan can be seen in the video preparing and practising with others present on the Kaun Banega Crorepati sets. A few frames later, Abhishek and his father can be seen hugging one other. The father-son team is now joined by Jaya Bachchan. Later, Big B and Abhishek Bachchan are seen hugging each other, cutting cake, and saying hello to their supporters.
