From having a passion for football to getting featured on CNN for his athleticism, Jonquall Carrothers has come a long way.

His American-style football grabbed the attention of many and earned him innumerable accolades.

To dream about something and having the visions to fulfil the same is one thing, to make efforts towards it and work consistently for it is another thing, and to combine both of these and create a path for one’s career, be it in any field is an altogether different thing. Everyone has their own sweet journeys, some only desire to do things, few others make the efforts but still fail, and many others determinedly move towards achieving their success with a powerful amalgamation of passion and perseverance. Belonging to the last category effortlessly is a young American football player named Jonquall Carrothers.

“Football is what I understood since a very early age as my heart always naturally got inclined towards it. This very connection that I felt early in life made me believe in my innate skills and passion for the game and motivated me to be a part of the sporting world,” says the passionate footballer and a star linebacker, well-known for his tackles.

A 1997-born Memphis boy, who, as a big-eyed guy with big dreams in his eyes, went ahead in turning those into reality with the kind of unique talent he showed on the field. Jonquall Carrothers began his career at Middle Tennessee State University as a collegiate footballer and got transferred to Cumberland University as a defensive back due to some coaching changes. Honing his skills in the sport, he slowly transitioned into a linebacker and spellbound people with his talents in the same in the Mid- South conference racking up 119 tackles.

Jonquall Carrothers successfully completed his graduation and transferred to Campbellsville University as a Grad Transfer Linebacker and then created history with a long list of his achievements as a young American footballer. Right from making it in the First Team NCCAA All American, First Team All Mid-South Conference, Academic All Mid-South Conference to becoming an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete, Mid-South Conference Tackle Leader and ranking 9th in Tackles Nationally (All Positions) and 3rd as Linebacker Nationally in tackles, Jonquall Carrothers did come a long way.

All of this helped him get featured on CNN’s special report by Demetrius Pipkin, titled “America On Hold: We All Have a Story”, featuring the prowess of this player.
