Fans respond to BTS’ Jungkook listening to a “Indian song” while he dances to Naatu Naatu live and compliments RRR in the sweetest way possible

During a live performance on Weverse, Jungkook of BTS danced to the RRR song Naatu Naatu, thrilling his Indian fans. Here’s how the RRR squad responded.

BTS’ Jungkook also jumps on the Naatu Naatu bandwagon as the rest of the globe jives to the infectious RRR tune. Jungkook went live on Weverse on Friday after recently deactivating his Instagram account. The singer thrilled the BTS ARMY (BTS fans refer to themselves as the ARMY) with his most recent live, which featured him dancing to Naatu Naatu. Many BTS fans expressed their joy on Twitter and Instagram. On social media, some viewers couldn’t believe Jungkook was “vibing to this song,” while others claimed he yelled RRR “in the loveliest way” while performing live.

RRR, a movie by director SS Rajamouli, has gained international acclaim. The film has already received a number of national and international honours, including this year’s Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes for best song. An Oscar nomination for best original song was given to the Telugu movie’s song Naatu Naatu earlier this year.

A favourite at recent international award shows, Naatu Naatu—which stars Jr. NTR and Ram Charan—will compete against superstars like Lady Gaga and Rihanna, whose songs are also vying for an Oscar in the same category at this month’s 95th Academy Awards. Together with Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, Raise Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once, Naatu Naatu has been nominated.
