Fans react when Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor saw an old photo of her hugging her “best friend” Katrina Kaif at an event

Wednesday saw Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor at the Press Club in Mumbai, where they could be seen in a room full of their famous pictures from the past, including one of Alia holding Ranbir’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif at a function in 2019.

On Wednesday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor took a break from being parents to go to an event in Mumbai. The newlyweds, who had their daughter Raha Kapoor in November of last year, were sighted together at the Press Club in Mumbai, where they were shown a room full of some of their most treasured photographs taken by paparazzi and famous people throughout the years. In addition to images of Ranbir and Alia with his parents, the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, there was also an image of the couple with Katrina Kaif from a 2019 event.

On social media, paparazzi and fan groups uploaded images and videos of Ranbir and Alia discussing their old photo with Katrina, to which many people responded. The photo was taken at a 2019 awards ceremony when Ranbir and Alia ran into Katrina Kaif. In the picture, Alia and Katrina can be seen cuddling and then holding hands as Ranbir watches. Ranbir can be seen grinning and pointing to their photo with Katrina in the videos posted from the Press Club event on Monday. Katrina and Alia were friends before Alia started seeing Ranbir, and the two frequently praised one another online and in interviews.

Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt were well-known as one of Bollywood’s best friends, spending time together at many Mumbai events as well as getting along on the Dream Team 2016 tour of the US. The two even wore identical ensembles in 2017 for their appearance on the second season of BFFs with Vogue. After several years of courting, Alia wed Katrina’s ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022, and the couple had a daughter in November. On the other side, in December 2021, Katrina wed actor Vicky Kaushal.
