Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta is coming in September

The beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will show up the following month, with PlayStation players getting access first, followed by those on Xbox and PC. Infinity Ward shared the news at the CDL Champs (Call of Duty League Championship) competition. Likewise with its past betas, the dates are isolated by console and regardless of whether you preordered the game.

The first early access beta starts off on September 16th to 17th for PlayStation 4 and 5 players who preordered the game. This is followed by the open beta for all PlayStation players, which starts on September 18th and finishes on the 20th.

The crossplay beta for players who preordered the game on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC will last from September 22nd to 23rd, while the open crossplay beta for all platforms begins on September 24th and closes on the 26th. Every session starts at 1PM ET.

At CDL Champs, Infinity Ward likewise prodded a new multiplayer map, called Grand Prix, that is set on a racetrack. The map will be accessible to play during the beta.

On the off chance that you haven’t pre-ordered the game, Infinity Ward says you’ll get the opportunity to get a beta code that will give you early access. While it previously offered a few codes during the competition today, you’ll have more opportunities to catch one from different streamers and YouTubers paving the way to the beta’s beginning date.

We got our first look at Modern Warfare II in June, yet Infinity Ward’s set to uncover much more about the forthcoming game at its Call of Duty: Next event (including a full multiplayer uncover), which will happen on September 15th. Modern Warfare II launches on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (through Battle.net and Steam) on October 28th.
