According to a source, Apple will begin adopting internal screens in 2024

In an effort to bring more components in-house, Apple Inc. plans to start utilising its own bespoke displays in its mobile devices starting in 2024, according to Bloomberg News, which cited people with knowledge of the matter.

By the end of next year, the business wants to start by replacing the displays in the most expensive Apple Watches. According to the story, Apple intends to eventually add these displays to a variety of devices, including the iPhone.

According to a Monday report from Bloomberg News, Apple intends to switch in-house-designed semiconductors for Broadcom Inc. chips in 2025.

The manufacturer of the iPhone has been seeking to reduce its dependency on other chipmakers, and for recent generations of its Mac computers, it switched to its own line of CPUs, replacing those from Intel Corp.
